Former ‘Real Housewives of Miami’ star, Dr. Nicole Martin, and her fiancé, Anthony Lopez, have sold their waterfront mansion for $40 million to British pop singer Robbie Williams, with an additional $5 million paid for furnishings. Quite the success story, it was only listed for three days before going into contract and the sale set a new record for the affluent Old Cutler Bay neighborhood of Coral Gables, per Business Insider.
Williams, who first rose to fame with the boy band Take That then carved out a wildly successful solo career, plans to renovate and expand the newly purchased Florida estate, which already clocks in with 19,380 square feet of interiors. The New York Post reports he intends to add between 2,500 and 3,500 square feet, including a 2,000-square-foot guest pavilion that could potentially be used as William’s recording studio when he’s not on tour. Set on a one-acre peninsula, his “work-from-home” view couldn’t get much better.
The sellers purchased the home in 2022 for $21 million, public records show. They also left their mark here, recently completing an extensive renovation of their own.
The mansion boasts seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half-baths, a wine room, a bar, an 18-car garage, and a library/media room, and many more luxurious amenities. Double-height ceilings in the foyer welcome you along with white, wood-paneled walls and a curving, sculptural staircase. The rest of the modern mansion showcases clean lines, sleek lighting, and material choices. Coming from California, Williams may feel right at home amidst the minimalist high-end design or choose to bring in some musician-style color and flair.
Of course, the outdoors are also poised for indulgent living. A resort-style pool and spa, a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen, and a dock for boating present many opportunities to entertain and enjoy Miami’s gorgeous weather.
Dennis Carvajal of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing, while Chad Carroll at The Chad Carroll Group of Compass represented the buyer.
