Bill Murray, the beloved comedic actor from cult classics like Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and Caddyshack, keeps a fairly low profile outside of the spotlight. The celeb is more likely to photobomb people for fun than show off flashy possessions. That said, it’s no surprise that one of his past residences was in the quiet hamlet of Palisades in New York. Nestled off a main road but mere steps away from the Hudson River, the 19th-century dwelling is now on the market for $1.995 million.

Built in 1868, the charming home is succinctly dubbed ‘The Manse.’ After undergoing a restoration in 2016 costing just over $1 million, the home is a sophisticated property awaiting a new buyer. Mansion Global reports that Murrary lived in the home briefly while his own home was in progress, but he’s not the only celebrity with ties to the space. Actress and model Uma Thurman has lived in the area, and funny enough her former bathtub was reglossed and now sits in this exact home.

Encompassing a total of 3,100 square feet on under half an acre, the property is a cozy getaway and actually far from a stuffy, over-the-top manse.
