A beloved summer tradition returned to Shelter Island as guests stepped inside a remarkable collection of historic homes during the annual Shelter Island History Museum House Tour, sponsored by HC&G. This year’s event, held in conjunction with the nation’s 250th anniversary, celebrated the island’s architectural legacy and storied past through a self-guided tour of distinguished residences. Following the tour, attendees gathered at the Shelter Island History Museum for the opening reception of Havens House: Witness the American Revolution, enjoying refreshments and festivities in support of the Museum’s educational programs and preservation efforts.
