A section of the terrace at the home of Bruce Glickman and Wilson Henley is furnished with a weathered teak table and chairs from Barlow Tyrie.
The couple’s Highland terriers, Frank and Betty, recline in the breakfast room. The vintage stool is by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. The wing chair is upholstered in Banyan pattern from Bennison Fabrics.
In Character Wilson Henley and Bruce Glickman created an old-fashioned motor court at their home; landscape design is by Michael Trapp Inc.
In the foyer, the 18th-century framed portraits are through Housatonic Trading Co; a horn-framed mirror is through RT Facts; the console is through 1stdibs; and the bronze dog is by Christophe Fratin.
A new wood ceiling in the dining room was hand-distressed by Matt Wood of Matt Wood Art. A circa-1930 plaster chandelier through BK Antiques is suspended above a circa-1960 Milo Baughman table. The artworks are by Donald Judd. The living room features a pair of slipper chairs from Roark Modern.
The library is painted in Benjamin Moore’s Dragon’s Breath and furnished with a Milo Baughman chair through George Champion Modern Shop; the English portrait dates from the 18th century and is a family heirloom.
The sofa pillows are vintage Fortuny, and the sconces are from Visual Comfort.
The kitchen island is set with Thonet stools from York Street Studio. The vintage industrial light fixtures are through BK Antiques.
A circa-1920 equestrienne portrait from Montage Antiques hangs in an upstairs landing of the house. The owners often take guests to see it, then remove it from the wall and turn it around to show a painting of a different figure on the other side. The chair is from RT Facts.
A seating area in the master bedroom is furnished with a tufted leather sofa by Duane Modern through George Home.
The master bathroom is complete with an antique carpet that’s an heirloom from Glickman’s family and a 19th-century chair through Montage Antiques.
The upstairs office walls are lined with a Phillip Jeffries grasscloth through Holly Hunt; the hand-blocked Madeline Weinrib pillow is from Privet House.
The site and position of the pool, installed by Litchfield County Pools, was determined by the natural slope of the land. Walls are crafted from local stone. The poolside furniture is by Richard Schultz for Knoll, and the umbrellas are from RH.
On the terrace, vintage McGuire teak furniture stands up to the weather.
A decorative iron gate, original to the house, is located on the side of the house and leads to the terrace.
