The end of the year is near, which means that 2024 real estate numbers have been crunched. PropertyShark just released their annual report outlining the year’s top 100 most expensive zip codes in the U.S., plus key takeaways, and the results are intriguing.

To start, 66% of the top 100 fell in California. Atherton topped the entire list for the eighth consecutive year, while the Hamptons and Miami held the only East Coast zip codes to make the top 10. One of Manhattan’s zip codes first appears at number 23, so the Big Apple still has a ways to climb. Meanwhile, Riverside—a small enclave of Greenwich—cemented its title as Connecticut’s most expensive zip code with a median sale price of $2.51 million.
