This Beverly Hills Haven Formerly Home to Both Cher and Actor Ed O’Neill Wants $4.1M

Star-studded Los Angeles is seemingly smaller than you might imagine. At least, when it comes to celebrities and the homes they’ve owned. Where else can you find a historic mansion once owned by a king and Danny DeVito? Or an $85 million spread where Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, Danny DeVito (again), and Rhea Perlman once lived? Now, another home has come to the market with a cool celebrity pedigree. Cher and actor Ed O’Neill owned this private and lush Beverly Hills gem at separate times in the past 30 years, and currently it’s seeking $4,099,000.

The singer purchased the gated home in July of 2013 for $2,145,000 and sold it for $2,100,000 in 2018 to the current owner, according to Mansion Global. O’Neill, known for his roles in “Modern Family” and “Married…With Children,” owned the L.A. hideaway from 1996 until 2007 when he sold it for $1,900,000.

The home is an ideal artist’s retreat, nestled in the nature of Beverly Hills. The remodeled interiors are contemporary and fresh, with plenty of character, like wood-beamed ceilings and charming windows. The floor plan spans 3,089 square feet, totaling four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Outside, plenty of outdoor living space awaits to soak in the verdant surroundings.

Ernie Carswell and Aneela Zaman of Douglas Elliman hold the light and bright listing.
