The Hype House is a residence in Camarillo, California where a group of popular TikTokers lived together and created content. The eight-episode Netflix series follows the young influencers and what it is like to live together. In the trailer, influencer Nikita Dragun says, “Imagine a fraternity filled with people that have millions of followers and dollars. And, like, a ring light.”
The eight-bedroom, ten-bathroom Mediterranean-style home spans 11,280 square feet. With its five-car garage, luxe kitchen, home theater, game room, and epic backyard with a swimming pool, hot tubs, and swim-up bar, the 20-acre property is certainly #goals.
How could a group of young adults in their late teens and early twenties afford such a home? Business Insider reported that Hype House manager and founding member Thomas Petrou shared that lucrative brand deals paid for the $5 million house. Petrou is also the seller now that the pad is up for sale.
According to Instagram, the home first when on the market in April of 2023. Petrou posted a TikTok on January 15 explaining that he is putting the home for sale again after taking it off the market for two months to enjoy it over the holidays. “I am going to be moving to a house half the size, maybe less. Because I just don’t need this much space,” Petrou shares. He says he has been hesitant to sell it because he is “trying to find the perfect house, where I’m like, ‘yes, I would leave my house for that one.'”
