Tour a $25M Sagaponack Masterpiece with an IDA-Winning Space

There are plenty of stunning kitchens in the Hamptons, but only one of them won first place in the kitchen category at the 2023 Hamptons Innovation in Design Awards. After seeing the gorgeous space by interior designer Tamara Magel, we couldn’t help but wonder how the rest of the home shaped up. It’s safe to say that the Sagaponack spread newly listed for $25 million exceeds expectations.

The four-bedroom home was originally built in 1998, but Magel gutted and redesigned the 8,978-square-foot residence. Bold yet natural, sophisticated, and chic interiors fill the entire floorplan. For example, a pink-veined marble is the pièce de résistance in the kitchen, but the rest of the space is more understated (neutral cabinetry, white island). IDAs judge Bryan Young called the space “both surprising and elegant” and judge T.R. Pescod shared that the space makes him smile.

Other bold marble selections made their way into the home’s eight-and-a-half bathrooms and fireplace surrounds, weaving wow factors throughout the interiors.

A 20-acre reserve beyond the backyard allows for privacy and an enhanced view of the ocean beyond—which is just a few houses away. The property has a swimming pool and tennis court. Inside, a gym and sauna await for breaking a sweat either with workouts or lounging.
