Yolanda Hadid’s Family Sanctuary, a Luxurious 30-Acre Farm in Pennsylvania, Comes to Market for $10.9M

Eight years ago, after her divorce from Grammy award-winner David Foster and after years of struggling with Lyme disease, Dutch-born supermodel Yolanda Hadid was looking for a new place to call her own. Somewhere she could rejuvenate and gather with her family. Enter this 30-acre estate, now known as the Yolanda Hadid Family Farm, which she found in rural Pennsylvania just two hours from New York City.

“I longed for a sanctuary where I could heal and reconnect with Mother Earth just the way I grew up in Holland. When I found the farm, I instantly fell in love,” Yolanda shares. “There were no gates at that time so I parked on the main road and walked down the long driveway, the energy was unbelievable. I instantly knew I was home even before I saw the buildings.”

Hadid redesigned the compound, which holds five structures for humans and and one for horses, to increase the property’s unity (and glamour). There’s a circa-1810 stone main house, three guest cottages, and a circa-1776, 8,000-square-foot barn that Hadid transformed into a hub for entertaining and equestrian use. Restored and full of rustic elegance, it offers a cavernous room for hosting as well as 14 stalls, 3 wash stalls, a tack room, a feed room, and more for goats, horses, and any other lucky farm animals that get to live there.

When it comes to other elements people can relish at the secluded farm, which was first deeded in 1682, the list is extensive. Raised vegetable gardens, 3,000+ lavender plants, a meditation labyrinth, a wine and lavender oil cellar, a resort-like pool, and a professional jumping arena all encourage you to slow down and enrich the soul. Or at least, that’s what Yolanda’s children, models Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, and Anwar Hadid, could look forward to. The family made many memories at the estate, whether during the uncertain times of the COVID lockdowns, the holidays, or on quiet weekends recharging with farm-to-table meals and long horse rides through the fields.

After listing the property for $10,888,000 this week, Yolanda says, “The farm was always meant to be our family sanctuary, and now it’s time to pass it on to new custodians who can cherish it and fill it with new life. It’s bittersweet, but we will always carry so much gratitude for what this land gave us during a very transitional time in our life.”
