Early 2000s Pop Star and Former Teen Heartthrob Jesse McCartney Lists Hollywood Hills Contemporary

For many, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Joe Jonas, and Zac Efron were a pivotal part of their millennial childhood or teen experience. They were among a group of teen singers and actors who were often first crushes for this generation or adorned favorite posters in their rooms. Jesse McCartney, who rose to fame after joining the teen boy band Dream Street then embarked on a solo career that solidified his stardom, was also definitely on the list.

However, McCartney’s years of headset microphones are long behind him. The musician is now married, has a one-year-old, and is nearing his 40s like so many millennials beside him. He just listed his longtime Hollywood Hills home, looking for something bigger for this new chapter. The contemporary haven, which McCartney purchased in 2014, is asking $2.795 million.

While the property isn’t on the edge of a hill with city views, its laid-back, L.A. cool factor is still easy to see. Warm, minimalist interiors that ooze on-trend organic vibes flow throughout the 3,635-square-foot house. The chef’s kitchen and open living room are undoubtedly the heart of the home, while the primary suite with its own sauna is a sanctuary of calm tucked away for privacy. There are just two more bedrooms, which shows why McCartney may have started to envision something bigger for his family. Plus, the backyard is ultra-chic with beautiful hardscaping and slender pool for parties, but perhaps not the most child-friendly if someone hopes to watch their kids play easily on a green lawn.

Located in Laurel Canyon, which has a renowned legacy as being a place where musicians lived and created iconic songs in the mid-1960s, the area is clearly still attracting the musically-minded today. To move their next, Melanie Haschek and Bryce Pennel of Douglas Elliman.
