This Magical Bridgehampton Estate Created by a Renowned Talent Agent Wants $29.5M

The Hamptons holds many breathtaking properties, but this may be one of the most enchanting currently on the market. Centered by a sophisticated farm-style home and a picturesque pond, it’s a property most people would never want to leave. Of course, it’s also priced as such. The 13.5-acre estate is now listed for $29.5 million.

Located at 266 and 300 Sagaponack Road in Bridgehampton, this secluded sanctuary is composed of a roughly 5-acre lot holding the custom-built home and a 8.45-acre vacant parcel with robust possibilities for creating another house, a tennis court, a party barn, or whatever else the next owner can dream up. Though, someone could also just enjoy the splendor that already exists, which previous owners worked hard to create.

Late Hollywood talent agent turned design tastemaker, Sandy Gallin (known for managing icons like Cher, Dolly Parton, and Nicole Kidman during his career) is the one who transformed the property. After purchasing it, he completely gut-renovated the home to create the 6,600-square-foot beauty and 410-square-foot dock house you see today. He also brought in L.A.-based landscape architect Scott Mitchell to design the grounds. Mitchell created the apple orchards, grassy lawns, pond, and the one-of-a-kind pond pool surrounded by Pennsylvania fieldstone. As to how he pulled that off, Mitchell told Gardenista, “You put the pool in first, and then you build the pond around it, treating them both as built structures.”

Interior designer Natasha Esch and investor Matt Coffin, who own the antiques and homeware store Monc XIII in Sag Harbor, purchased the sprawling estate in 2017 and then curated the interiors to suit their vision. They sold the enchanting spread in 2020 for $18.35 million, according to 27East.

For those lucky enough to be able to afford this prized property, Bespoke Real Estate and Lori Schiaffino of Compass share the magazine-worthy listing.
