Another summer has gone by, and so has another energetic Hampton Designer Showhouse. For the 2025 HDS, more than 25 top interior designers from across the country descended on Sag Harbor to transform the spaces of a sparkling, new home—designed and built by Town & Country East End, Inc. led by President Steven Graziano.

The 9,000-square-foot modern featured a wide variety of compelling design elements, and we’re giving you an inside look at how surface materials played a role.

Graziano and his designer, Elaina Girona, looked to industry-leader Caesarstone to supply high-quality, stunning, and durable surfaces. Here’s what they chose for the sleek pool house and outdoor kitchen to ensure lasting functionality and beauty long after the Showhouse visitors left.

The 2025-built residence is perched on a hill like a pedestal and surrounded by woods and greenery. With such a lush setting, going for modern and glassy architecture felt natural to Graziano, who drew up the plans on-site after purchasing the property. “For the exterior, it’s Miami meets the Hamptons,” he reflects.

Building upon that fashionable edge, Girona chose a deep tone for the pool interior to create a black, lagoon-like feel and continued to lean into the modern aesthetic at the nearby pool house. For the outdoor kitchen, Girona selected Caesarstone’s 550 Silvax porcelain for the countertops, specifically drawn to its cool, polished concrete-like appearance.

Its misty clays, silver grays, and subtle veins mimic ancient travertine, giving the surface an airy appearance. The metallic accents and creamy streaks of Caesarstone’s 550 Silvax porcelain add beautiful depth and make it an ideal choice for designers inside and out. Importantly, it’s extremely tough as well. As Graziano mentions, “Caesarstone offers manmade, porcelain products that are fire retardant and durable. That’s what makes them great for outdoor kitchens and fireplaces especially.”

Stepping into the two-level pool house, Purple Cherry Architects created a shimmering, “sun-washed” atmosphere on the main level while Fiorello Designs for DEDON crafted a punchy, orange oasis on the second level. Girona muses, “The social component was my favorite part: Meeting all these people with such beautiful and different ideas. It was just a wonderful experience.”

Collaborating with these designers and thinking of the home’s longevity, Girona opted for Caesarstone’s 5151 Empira White quartz in the kitchen amidst glossy blue cabinetry and on the bathroom vanity counters.

In going neutral and choosing a timeless white quartz with gorgeous, grey veining, the Town & Country East End, Inc. team can shift in any design direction later when they remodel the pool house to be more cohesive for everyday living. Maximalist, contemptorary, modern, or traditional decor could all exist here one day around the sophisticated Caesarstone selections.

Throughout the 2025 Hampton Designer Showhouse, the luxurious, nonporous, and low maintenance Caesarstone surfaces add major allure and value. And, they’re sure to last many years and fun-filled summers ahead. Graziano plans to lease this home out as a high-end Hamptons rental and has nine more projects for the same purpose in-progress.

With all his experience in the luxury home sector, the accomplished builder often uses Caesarstone’s tried-and-true offerings. Graziano shares, “Caesarstone is a leader in the industry. To make selections, we primarily deal with Bellagio Kitchens & Baths and they’ll walk us through the Caesarstone products and what’s available. We tell them what we’re looking for and why, and they show us what might work the best whether that’s marble, quartzite, natural stone, etc.”
