This year, two dozen designers joined CTC&G Editorial Director DJ Carey on the C&G Insider Tour at KBIS. “There were so many standout booths, but two really inspired me,” she shares.
Monogram Appliances welcomed visitors into “The Iconic Kitchen,” showcasing how performance and design converge to create luxurious, intentional spaces. “I set out to create an environment that feels lived‑in yet undeniably elevated—architectural, warm, and deeply intentional,” says Richard T. Anuszkiewicz, creative director for Monogram and owner of Raith Design. The main kitchen vignette highlighted the Smart Wall Oven and Dual-Fuel Professional Range as sculptural centerpieces within layered architectural details and natural materials. “Once again Richard Anuszkiewicz created an iconic kitchen that feels more like a luxurious sitting room than a hard-working kitchen,” DJ Carey remarks. “His skill at mixing materials, finishes, and details is unexpected and beautiful.” A scullery and wine room extended the experience, with panel-ready appliances integrated seamlessly into warm, chocolate-toned finishes, reinforcing Monogram’s vision of effortless, functional luxury.
The final stop on the tour was Café Appliances, where designers explored the installation “This is Your Moment. Customize It.” The space featured three distinct kitchen vignettes: Postcards From Venice Kitchen, with a 36-inch stone-clad custom hood and a counter-depth refrigerator with dual-dispense AutoFill pitcher; Greenhouse Garden Party Kitchen, featuring a moody, botanical palette with a panel-ready dishwasher and dramatic 48-inch tapered hood; and Cashmere Breakfast Club Kitchen, offering a softer, California-modern sensibility paired with stainless steel appliances like the Smart Built-In Convection Wall Oven. “The booth this year celebrated personal expression,” DJ Carey says. “The three kitchen vignettes in the booth will inspire you with layered finishes, thoughtfully selected hardware, and purposeful appliance choices.”
