Art and Imagination Come Together for the DayDreams Book Launch at LongHouse Reserve

Artists and friends gathered in East Hampton for an evening of readings, conversation, and creative exchange.

Artists, friends, and supporters gathered at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton to celebrate the launch of DayDreams, a new artist book created and edited by curator James Salomon. Presented in partnership with HC&G, the special evening featured a reading and reception set amid LongHouse’s distinctive landscape of art and gardens, bringing together members of the Hamptons creative community.

The publication brings together artwork and personal reflections from artists connected to LongHouse, including Ai Weiwei, Laurie Anderson, Philip Glass, Kiki Smith, Julian Schnabel, and others. During the celebration, participating artists shared selections from their contributions, offering guests a closer look at the ideas and inspirations behind the project. Copies of DayDreams were also available for purchase, with proceeds supporting LongHouse Reserve’s educational programs.

The gathering celebrated the launch of DayDreams while bringing together art, nature, and community in a setting that has long championed creative expression. View photos from the event below.
