Scottish DJ Calvin Harris just picked up an L.A. mansion that’s pretty used to beats dropping on a daily basis. The seller was none other than fellow DJ, Steve Angello, who is a former member of Swedish House Mafia.Angello listed the 4,500-square-foot abode a couple months ago for $5.5 million and it has officially changed hands for an undisclosed amount. Before DJs moved in, composer and record producer Tom Rothrock owned the four-bedroom, five-bath manse. According to Page Six, Rothrock and his wife carefully renovated the home—maintaining its Old Hollywood, 1940s details while updating it with modern luxuries.Massive walls of glass boasting city views and 18-foot living room ceilings are just a couple of the property’s major perks. With a two-story office that includes a recording studio and a two-story master suite, it’s no wonder that Harris was eager to purchase the pad. It’s unclear if the DJ “Feels” like making his new property home, however. Harris already owns a house nearby, so it’s possible this real estate move is more of an investment. Gary Gold of Hilton & Hyland had the posh listing.
