Poppy Plate
Inspired by the World War I poem “In Flanders Fields,” poppies are a symbol of Memorial Day, honoring the bloodshed of soldiers and representing new life. Commemorate the Memorial Day tribute to noble armed forces with Marimekko’s iconic Unikko (poppy) design. Created by celebrated Finnish designer Maija Isola, it introduced floral prints to the company’s abstract designs. Representing creativity, the bold pattern plate is made of whiteware which is dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer safe.
