Contemporary Chandelier
Rethinking the traditional chandelier, designers Alberto and Francesco Meda have created Asteria, a contemporary suspension lamp. Reduced to the essentials, curved aluminum arms with built-in LED function as the light source, eliminating visible wiring. Light is emitted subtly from above and sideways, like a line floating in space. Another light source drives light downward for more functional illumination. Foscarini offers the fixture in various aesthetic and functional configurations and two finishes: black and dark red.
