C&G Media Group announces DJ Carey, Editorial Director at C&G Media Group and Editor in Chief of CTC&G (Connecticut Cottages & Gardens) magazine, will receive the prestigious 2024 Innovator Award.  This recognition marks Carey’s extensive contributions to the fields of publishing, interior and garden design, architecture, and manufacturing, through both her leadership and creative vision.

Carey’s receipt of the award underscores her pivotal role in shaping the design landscape. She began her career at House & Garden and held positions at Bride’s, Redbook, and 1001 Home Ideas and for several years was the Connecticut field editor for Meredith Publications, while producing custom magazines for companies including Minwax, Glidden, and Target.

Her extensive knowledge of design, architecture, entertaining, crafts and decorative arts contributes to the editorial success of the beloved CTC&G.
