Hassan Whiteside’s waterfront Miami Beach mansion is now under contract for $14.8 millon. The former NBA player has been trying to sell the estate since January 2025, and it has gone on and off the market several times since. This last go appears to be the game winner.
Whiteside played center for the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz from 2014 to 2022. He recently returned to professional basketball to play for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association. His Miami Beach abode has all the makings of an NBA star’s oasis: dining and family areas overlooking the water, hardwood and marble flooring, a chef’s kitchen with Wolf and Miele Appliances, and a built-in aquarium.
The contemporary layout allows for private terraces that wrap around the second floor. Amenities for entertainment abound as well, including a rooftop lounge, private movie theater, gym and custom bar. A resort-style pool outside features a waterfall overlooking the water.
Jordan Karp of Jordan Karp, LLC and Joel Lusky of The Brokerage South Florida Real Estate, LLC brokered the deal for the five bedroom, seven-and-one-half bathroom estate.
