Hotspots in The Hamptons: Openings, Pop-Ups, and New Locations

As the 2025 season heats up, here are the East End's hottest new openings.

For the Design Aficionados:

ABC Carpet & Home is popping up on the corner of Hill Street and Pond Lane in Southampton. The Shade Store is coming to Water Mill later this season and will be by appointment only. Also in Water Mill, Kravet opened up a new Kravet Workspace, ideally situated next to Current Home and Fayette Studio. Exclusive outdoor furnishings by RH are on display in East Hampton, at the brand’s first-ever Outdoor Gallery. Vintage and antique lovers, rejoice! Zoe Hoare of Hoare & Hoare Antiques opened a brick-and-mortar location in Bridgehampton. Starting on June 28, sculptor David Harber’s works will be on display at a by appointment only exhibition, A Celebration of Art in the Garden, designed by Landscape Details‘ Michael Derrig. Looking for an experience? Visit the 2025 Hampton Designer Showhouse, sponsored by HC&G, from Sunday, July 20 through Sunday, August 31.

For the Shoppers:

With outposts in Palm Beach and Charleston, lifestyle and clothing brand Julia Amory has joined the shopping scene in Southampton. Of-the-moment fashion brand TWP opened a charming seasonal shop in downtown Sag Harbor. Nearby, Blue & Cream opened its biggest boutique yet. Notably, Henry Lehr moved its Sag Harbor shop to the former Sylvester & Co. Modern General Store space on Main Street. Tom Brady brought CardVault to East Hampton’s Newtown Lane. Gathering Marketplace, a shared storefront featuring local businesses and artisans, also opened in East Hampton at 82 Park Place. And while the beloved shingle-clad Chanel store is no longer open, London Jewelers will open a Rolex boutique in the same space later this summer.

See and Be Seen:

Dolce & Gabana has transformed the beach club and decks at Gurney’s Montauk Resort, where umbrellas and chaises are outfitted in the fashion brand’s signature Blu Mediterraneo Collection; there is also a pop-up shop. The Colony Palm Beach bought the Hedges Inn, bringing its signature flair (and Swifty’s) out East.

For the Foodies:

Sagaponack General Store has already made its rounds on social media, but after a five-year renovation by Frank Greenwald, the hotspot is open for a morning coffee or afternoon pick-me-up. Of course, New York City favorites have made their way out East: BonBon and Sag Harbor Tavern in Sag Harbor, Camp Rubirosa and Crazy Pizza in East Hampton, Arthur & Sons in Bridgehampton, Bagatelle and Palm Beach-founded Mary Lou’s in Montauk.
