Against all odds—under the stress of bombardment, scarce materials, and unreliable energy sources—Ukrainian artists are continuing to create extraordinary jewelry, symbolizing their past, endurance, and hope.
An exhibit of their work, photos and jewelry pieces, is on display at the Ukrainian Institute of America on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Sponsored by the Strong & Precious Foundation, it will be open to the public on November 21 and 22, enabling visitors to get a sense of enduring artistry.
