That’s why the band’s longtime bass guitarist, Ben McKee, and his wife, Mary, knew they wanted a calming home where they could decompress from their busy lives and secured this spot in the luscious hills of Montclair, an enclave of Oakland, CA with gorgeous Bay Area views. Now those seeking that same type of serenity can find it on Virgo Road, where the McKees just listed their verdant property for $1.295 million.
“Life on Virgo Road has been filled with some pretty incredible memories,” said Ben McKee. “It is a very special place and I will never forget the time that we spent there. I’ve never lived in a place like it and I know that I will never find another place like it.”
When McKee wasn’t busy touring or recording, the pair spent $1 million renovating the shingle-style residence, putting an emphasis on upgrading the kitchen that was originally designed for a chef.
