Rooftop bars are all the rage nowadays, with Instagram feeds spammed by friends enjoying cocktails with that sweet, New York City skyline looking-picture perfect behind. The Williamsburg Hotel in Brooklyn has found a way to put a twist on the classic rooftop bar experience, and it’s a treat for the eye and taste palate. Now, one of the city’s most unique nightlife offerings, The Water Tower Bar has finally opened its doors with specialty libations and a fashion-forward aesthetic.
Cocktails at the exclusive spot start at $22 and rise higher and higher in price, eventually reaching $150 thanks to a truffle-infused Aperol wonder, the NY Post reports. With an equally pricey snack menu that offers a $525 caviar tasting, the Water Tower Bar may not fit into every New Yorker’s budget, but if you’re in the market for a stylish evening out, this might have to be your first stop.
Sitting fittingly across the street from the shuttered Rosenwach Water Tower Factory and overlooking the hotel’s rooftop pool, the Water Tower Bar calls out to those fascinated by urban architecture and city views. Not a repurposed, historic water tower but a new construction, the structure is a breathtaking cylinder of glass outfitted with rich walnut and brass. Inside, plush velvet couches surround cozy candlelit tables where guests can enjoy drinks and dinner.
