John Mayer’s Former Nolita Pad Can Be Someone’s Next NYC Rental for $17,500/Month

If you’re ‘Waiting on the World to Change,’ or rather, the market to change, perhaps renting feels right at the moment. And, in a place like New York City, there are always beautiful options for those with short-term stays in mind. For those with an enthusiasm for music or pop culture, this apartment owned by John Mayer from 2006 to 2013 is now available to rent for $17,500/month.

According to the New York Post, Mayer picked up the light-drenched Nolita residence for $2.17 million. For that price, the singer with a notable dating history gained open spaces, great downtown views, and over 2,000 square feet of interiors. Perched on the 12th floor, it also provides calm from the buzzing streets below and peeks at the city skyline. The inviting and laidback rooms have a unique allure all their own, however, with bold wood details and an overall open feel fostering a palpable midcentury feel.

While the suave unit doesn’t offer private outdoor spaces, a tenant can relish in the green, landscaped common roof deck with 360-degree vistas. Then, down in the concrete jungle below, trendy restaurants, high-end shops, and posh art galleries are everywhere you look.

John Mayer is one of the most celebrated singer-songwriters in contemporary times, so to live at his former Manhattan home is no small thing. Nick Gavin of Compass holds the listing, but reps for Compass were not able to comment on anything related to Mayer’s ownership.
