Orlando Bloom Relists His Cool, Circa-1970s Malibu Home at a Discount

Actor Orlando Bloom doesn’t seem interested in letting his Malibu home linger on the market. After listing his longtime residence for $12 million in March, he’s already made some bold strategic changes to attract the right buyer. A price trim to $11.45 million in May was the first step, but now he’s relisted the property entirely for just under $10 million with a new agent, Carl Gambino, who is Joe Jonas‘s go-to real estate guy as well.

The property itself is unchanged, boasting colorful and eclectic decor, clean lines, and gorgeous ocean views. Dating back to 1974 and reimagined by artist/furniture designer Roy McMakin, it holds hints of the groovy era when it was built with playful details like green cabinetry in the kitchen and breezy, open spaces inside and out for entertaining. Across its 4,181 square feet, there are four bedrooms, so it’s an ideal size for a family home. Or, at least that may have been what Bloom and his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr, were thinking when they picked it up in 2011.

It wouldn’t be a Malibu sanctuary without understated yet luxe wellness amenities, which this abode has aplenty. Buyers can unwind in the pool and spa, glass-and-timber gym, and barrel sauna daily or go surfing at the beach, which is mere steps away.
