It’s safe to say Anthony and Josephine Antoci know a thing or two about pricey transactions. After all, they are the owners of Los Angeles’ high-end, celebrity-favorite grocery store chain Erewhon—viral on social media for items like the $20 Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, a $30 loaf of bread, and a $20 strawberry this past spring. Yep, for one single strawberry. Recently, the couple sold something else with a high price: This Bel Air mansion that traded hands for $28.5 million.
The pair scooped up the property just over a year ago and parted with it for $6 million more than what they paid for it, according to the Robb Report. In fact, the business-savvy pair perhaps made even more on the property because records show they put it on the rental market for $200,000 per month shortly after purchasing the mansion.
Wellness is certainly front-and-center at the 15,000-square-foot modern with plenty of places to relax and unwind—from the wellness center to the infinity pool overlooking the city and the 5,000-square-foot rooftop. Of course, the kitchen is spectacular as well and primed to be stocked with many organic, and opulent, Erewhon goods.
Entrepreneur Dara Mir, the soon-to-be-ex-husband of former Shahs of Sunset reality star Lilly Ghalichi, is the buyer, per Robb Report. Kevin Booker, James Harris, and David Parnes of Carolwood Estates represented the sellers in the deal.
