Author Ann Leary Makes an Appearance
Showcasing her novel The Good House, Connecticut resident Ann Leary spoke charmingly at a West Palm Beach branch library about her life as a writer, as the wife of a famous actor and as a rural New England mother and homemaker.
William Moloney: A Survey of Works
The night after his wife actress Christine Ebersole closed her act at the Colony Hotel’s Royal Room, William Moloney took the stage at the Paul Fisher 433 Gallery for a one-man show of his paintings. “Untitled” works in latex, enamel, acrylic and pastel. Guests included noted designer Carlton Varney, sculptresses Edwina Sandys and Stephania Conrad and local artist Bruce Helander who curated the show and whose own retrospective was held a few days later. www.paulfisher.com

A few nights later a lively group gathered in Palm Beach’s emerging Northwood section to mingle in Bruce Helender’s ArtHouse 429 with its charming outdoor sculpture garden created by his wife Claudia and enhanced by Edwina Sandys’ fanciful sculptures.
