Reed and Delphine Krakoff Reel in $43.5M for Their Glassy, Oceanfront Hamptons Compound

The oceanfront Hamptons home of Reed and Delphine Krakoff has officially traded hands, closing for a hefty $43.5 million. First reported to be in contract last fall, the sale is one of the area’s most significant deals so far in 2026 and highlights the appetite for ultra-luxury real estate. According to public records, the couple sold their 2.8-acre estate to a real estate investment company called Pine Tree Trust.

Reed Krakoff, fashion designer and former creative director of Coach, and his wife, interior designer Delphine Krakoff, put deep thought into building this modern Amagansett compound. They commissioned New York-based Thomas Phifer and Partners to design it and, after five years, it was completed in 2023.

“The house is very controlled and very hard in the middle of an environment that’s completely the opposite,” Reed Krakoff told Sotheby’s Magazine. “The tension between the two was the idea.”

The blocky exteriors made entirely of concrete, glass, and steel have a stark, precise look that is contrasted with the couple’s choice of materials and textures for the interiors. Spaces feature warm-colored oak flooring and neutral tones that foster softness and organic ease. “It shouldn’t be still-life. It’s not sculpture. It’s a home,” Reed said.

A total of 7,200 square feet unfolds across the three separate glass structures, including a primary suite that occupies its own glass pavilion. Originally listed for almost $50 million, it has all the suave bells and whistles for Hamptons living, too. There’s a massive deck with a heated gunite pool, a kitchen with dual islands, and a private path leading to over 200 feet of beach frontage.

Known for their taste, the couple’s other endeavors have included owning and renovating Jackie Kennedy’s childhood East Hampton home: Lasata. And, they may now be setting their sights on another ambitious project. “Living in the house is great, but the process is what we enjoy doing together the most,” Delphine told Elle Magazine.
