A new design destination has arrived on Greenwich Avenue. On September 10, RH will open RH Estates, The Gallery on Greenwich Avenue, the first standalone Gallery devoted to RH Estates, the brand’s new vision of classic design reimagined through a contemporary lens. Spanning nearly 20,000 square feet across two floors, the Gallery joins RH Greenwich, The Gallery at the Historic Post Office, and RH Greenwich Outdoor, establishing a multi-building RH ecosystem in the heart of the Greenwich Avenue Historic District.
With RH Chairman and CEO Gary Friedman serving as design principal, the Gallery draws on the Beaux-Arts tradition, with a stately limestone facade, grand arched windows, elegant ironwork, and a carved stone balustrade. Inside, limestone floors extend through a Great Room beneath a ceiling adorned with intricate cornice detailing and sculpted medallions, illuminated by Venetian glass chandeliers, while soaring arched passageways lead to RH Estates installations presented alongside rare art, antiques, and artifacts.

Immerse yourself in artistic installations of RH Estates, amplifying the work of the world’s most legendary designers and ateliers. The collections include the iconic designs of Michael Taylor, recognized globally as the godfather of the California look, alongside the meticulous reproductions of Formations and the hand-tailored couture upholstery of Dmitriy & Co – all recently acquired by RH.

The experience extends to Cucina Angelina, RH’s Italian restaurant honoring Friedman’s mother, Angelina Ascari, her Italian heritage, and his uncle Geno Ascari’s love of cooking. First introduced at RH Milan, the 88-seat restaurant is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling rift-sawn European white oak, Crema Emperador marble, herringbone floors, Italian burnt caramel velvet banquettes and a coffered, serving a menu of Italian classics, wood-fired pizzas, and signature RH dishes.

Ahead of the opening, Friedman hosted an unveiling celebration on September 9, with a host committee including Martha Stewart, Athena Calderone, Derek Blasberg, Reed and Delphine Krakoff, Tommy Hilfiger and Dee Ocleppo Hilfiger, and Shirin von Wulffen, among others.
