Shark Tank, an Emmy Award-winning reality show that highlights investment and entrepreneurship, has been running since 2009 for a reason. People enjoy seeing the passion, creativity, and grit that it takes to not only start a business or create a product, but to make it succeed. Of course, viewers also see what the show’s “Sharks” are looking for when investing. Croatian-born tech pioneer Robert Herjavec, whose family immigrated to Canada when he was young, has been a Shark on Shark Tank since it began. If there’s any question in viewers’ minds if his net-worth or investment power is what it seems on-screen, a home that just hit the market speaks volumes.
Herjavec has listed his full-floor residence high in One57, a famed NYC supertall designed by architect Christian de Portzamparc that sits atop the luxe, Park Hyatt New York hotel. The TV personality’s 6,240-square-foot home occupies the entire 86th floor and is asking a whopping $38.5 million.
Per public records, Herjavec picked up the spectacular condo wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass in 2021. When asked why he is now selling, the investor shared with dailyDEEDS, “I love the place in NYC—it makes me smile every time we are there, but we are making a more permanent move to the West Coast so not sure we will get to use it much.”
The four-bedroom unit would definitely be tough to part with thanks to its awe-inspiring 360-degree views, including a birdseye look at Central Park. While most will be in awe over the living spaces, the 1,350-square-foot primary suite is a masterpiece in itself with a 22-foot-long walk-in closet, a separate sleeping area and lounge, and two over-the-top bathrooms bridged by a shared space with a steam room and a stunning, hand-carved marble tub.
One57 also sets the bar high for lavish skyscraper living, offering residents amenities such as a full health club, a pool and spa, a screening room, entertaining spaces, and even a pet spa. Plus, all the hotel services one gains access to.
To simply ride up to the 86th floor of One57—which boasts 90 levels and soars over 1,000-feet-tall—would be a treat, but to live here seems other worldly. For those who can afford to follow in Herjavec’s footsteps and make a shark-worthy investment, Jorge Lopez of Compass holds the listing.
