The Childhood Home of TV Personality Giuliana Rancic Lists Near Washington D.C.

While many know Giuliana Rancic for having all the juicy Hollywood updates as a co-anchor on E! News, the TV personality grew up on the other side of the country in Bethesda, Maryland. Her childhood home is actually on the market, which is just minutes from Washington D.C. Asking $1,675,000, this is the first time the house has been on the market, so it is presumably being sold by someone in her family.

After immigrating with her family to the United States at the age of seven, Giuliana spent much of hear early years in this region. She graduated from University of Maryland and then received a master’s degree from American University. While her entertainment career has taken her out to the glitzy West Coast, it’s nice she has had her family home to come home to all these years.

Built in 1983, there is a certain classic D.C. charm about the nearly 5,000-square-foot residence. The brick exterior opens up into a front room with a staircase, and adjacent to the entrance are all of the public spaces. The kitchen is centrally located and beautifully upgraded, while also primed for entertainment. Hosting a dinner party is easy, thanks to the formal dining room and central island. New windows and glass sliding doors, especially in the sunroom, are perfect for watching the foliage change and the leaves drop through the seasons. There are a total of five bedrooms and one bathroom, and the primary suite has all the essentials for unwinding. A jacuzzi with a skylight and three walk in closets round out that space.

On the lowest level of the home is a finished basement complete with a full kitchen and rec room, or another bedroom if the new buyer desires. While the warm weather has passed, an outdoor deck and pool will be perfect for soaking up the sun when the time comes. Eric Burka of Sotheby’s International Realty holds the listing.
