Cosmetics maven Laura Mercier is leaving town and letting go of her Walker Tower condo, which she purchased for $5.9 million in 2013. The French native plans to relocate back home where, sources at the Wall Street Journal say, she will continue to build the Mercier brand.
For anyone looking to take up residence in a 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 2,150-square-foot condo, Mercier’s former home offers a polished setting. Floor-to-ceiling windows anchor the chic living room, which is lined with French herringbone floors.
The master bedroom boasts impressive measurements and not one but four closets. The master bath is a sanctuary of marble and cast iron, while the kitchen offers top-of-the line appliances from Viking and Miele.
Potential buyers can consider the building’s Art Deco details when imagining how they plan to decorate. Corcoran’s Vickey Barron has the listing.
