Michael Chernow, co-founder of the Meatball Shop empire, has found a buyer for the Williamsburg condo he shared with his wife, model Donna Hemmingsen. The apartment hit the market asking $1.1M in May and entered contract shortly thereafter.
The all-white apartment is bathed in natural light and features an open floor plan with soaring ceiling heights. There is a spacious kitchen with white cabinetry and top-of-the-line appliances as well as a planted terrace off the great room. Although the apartment is a legal one-bedroom, one-bathroom, Chernow and his wife split the master bedroom during renovations to include an additional sleeping area. A dramatic spiral staircase off the kitchen leads to the roof deck.
Halstead’s Ari Harkov, Warner Lewis and Ashley Clark had the listing. The New York Post reported the sale.
