In the entry foyer, Drake took his inspiration from the luminous night sky, hence the planetary orbs of the brass Modo chandelier from Roll & Hill and the circular forms of the custom furnishings, including a wool-and-viscose rug from Hokanson and a marble and lacquered-wood table.
The burnished 12-karat white-gold Maya Romanoff mirror is from APF Munn; mouth-blown glass candlesticks are from Dmitriy & Co.
In the dining area, custom chairs are covered in handwoven Paris Tweed from Lauren Hwang New York. The table, designed by Drake , features a top fabricated from white Thassos marble and decorative glass. A Roll & Hill Halo chandelier hangs above.
A custom sofa by Drake dominates the north-facing living room; the Montaigne club chairs are from the designer’s collection for Theodore Alexander, and the large bronze-finished drum table is by DLV.
In a lofty, south-facing guest room, a headboard upholstered in Sahco’s Suri fabric rises to the ceiling, flanked by two sheets of gold glass and a pair of sinuous Gordes table lamps from Mathieu Lustrerie. The drapery fabric is James Hare’s iridescent Soho silk in Owl from Pierre Frey.
Drake designed the room’s desk, which features a leather-wrapped top; its chair is covered in Dedar’s Mademoiselle satin in Perle. The side chair is upholstered in Osborne & Little’s Colombina Plains Isabella chenille. The agate side table by Brenda Houston is from Holly Hunt, and the painting is by David Mann.
For the master suite, Drake designed a back-lit, laser-cut bronze headboard wall. The drapery fabric is Dedar’s Aplomb in Parma from Jerry Pair; the custom bench is covered in Decortex’s Jazz velvet in Purple Sage from Clarence House. The two Vendome swivel chairs, from Drake’s collection for Theodore Alexander, are covered in Donghia’s Edith hydrangea print in Violet.
A second guest room includes a bed and headboard upholstered in Jim Thompson’s Afternoon Shadow silk in Pacific.
The Strato lounge chair by Michael Berman from Profiles is covered in Sahco’s Niello. The painting is by Andy Harper.
