Known as a trailblazing designer with an exquisite eye for quality and authenticity, as well as a penchant for color and incorporating unexpected materials, Amy Lau has now added shopkeeper and gallerist to her list of acclaimed titles with the opening of a new space at the New York Design Center. The enchanting 8th floor area reflects Lau’s aesthetic in an array of mediums, including ceramics, glass, metal, textiles, and furniture from all over the world—from the turn-of-the-century to the handcrafted heirlooms of tomorrow.
