One new hotel has opened and another is set to join the scene this spring. The 79-room, aptly decorated Palm House recently opened, making it Palm Beach Island’s first new hotel to open in over four years. The first stateside property for the London-based Iconic Luxury Hotels collection is situated between Worth Avenue and the Royal Poinciana Plaza. Joining the scene this spring is another luxury hotel, The Vineta. The Oetker Collection (the same team behind iconic Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc in the South of France) is reimagining the building near Worth Ave that once housed The Chesterfield.
Speaking of openings, everyone is awaiting for Tutto Mare at the Royal Poinciana Plaza. Italian restaurant group Tutto il Giorno (with Hamptons ties) is opening a Palm Beach location, which will be the area’s only intra-coastal waterfront dining destination.
Lisa Perry, the 2023/2024 Hamptons Innovator Award recipient, reopened the Florida post of her East Hampton-based Onna House at the Royal. Currently, the exhibit on display is titled “Blue is the Warmest Color.” The gallery, which celebrates women artists, will be open through April 15.

Everyone’s favorite “not famous, but known” bagels are back on the island. PopUp Bagels are available for grab-and-go at the Colony’s Coral Ballroom porte-cochere. Bagels sell out quickly, so make sure to preorder starting at noon on Sundays.
Palm Beach Design Days is returning to town at the end of January. Harriet Mays Powell, Editor of Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens, will host a panel on Tuesday, January 28 at the Colony Hotel. Scott Sottile, Anne Fairfax, Dan Kahan, Jennifer Rudick will join the conversation, titled “Behind the Hedges: Inspirational Houses that Define Palm Beach.”
West Palm Beach has no shortage of happenings, either. The Cove Club is a waterfront, members-only destination in West Palm with cabanas, a pool, and bar and restaurant. The White Elephant partnered with the hotspot, so hotel guests have access to the amenities.
Palm Beach Cottages & Gardens is a sponsor of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach, which will be open Friday, February 21 through Sunday, March 16.
Some highlights at the Palm Beach Convention Center include the Palm Beach Show – Jewelry, Art, Antiques, & Design from February 13 through 18 and the PB Modern + Contemporary Art Fair 2025 from March 20 through 23.
