This Cape Cod Beach Estate Is Set to Be Record-Breaking If It Sells for Close to Asking

With weathered shingles, sweeping lawns, and the ocean in the backyard, this East Sandwich beach estate has all the makings of a classic New England escape. Think “The Summer I Turned Pretty” or “The Five-Star Weekend” vibes. But, its $12.9 million asking price is what really grabs attention as it could make local real estate history. If the property sells anywhere near its asking price, it will easily sail past Sandwich’s current record home sale of $3.3 million.

This approximately 16,000-square-foot waterfront home has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, with plenty of room for generations of guests. Its shingled facade, steep rooflines, stonework, and manicured grounds give the sprawling residence a quintessential Cape Cod character, while the interiors open up to grand proportions.
