A Day of Art and Design

What's new and coming soon.

We had a busy day catching up on design and art exhibits and projects around town. Schumacher invited us to preview their new fabrics and we stopped by Bernardaud to see the latest ceramic designs. Lalique held a reception in their handsome new townhouse showroom decorated in elegant silk wallcoverings from their collaboration with Fromental. A dozen volumes on interior design were signed and sold at the Interior Arts Building’s Book Bash.  Near the UN, the International Peace Institute and Asia Society launched Yoko Ono’s latest WISH TREE dedicated to creating a world where sustainable peace is possible. Inspired by the work of celebrated photographer Harry Benson, the Lighthouse Guild launched a new project to bring photography skills to the sight impaired.
