Designer Sasha Bikoff Has Made Her Bold and Refined West Village Townhouse Available to Rent

Regular readers of C&G’s magazines are no strangers to the work of interior designer Sasha Bikoff. Her projects range from bold and colorful to ornate Palm Beach vibes to rustic English Cotswolds style. And, we can’t forget her late mother’s jewel-toned apartment in the Dakota. It’s no wonder Bikoff has been revered as “decorating’s ‘it girl.'” Now, you can rent her own West Village townhouse, which has been, of course, decked out by the designer.

Bikoff acquired 15 Commerce Street in 2019, intending to use it as an investment property. When the COVID pandemic hit, she pivoted and designed the residence for herself, her husband, her baby, and two dogs—after all, there is great private outdoor space. In true Bikoff fashion, the interiors boast a tasteful explosion of color, matching the vibrancy and stylish vibe of the celeb-favorite neighborhood.

The home spans four stories and 2,394 square feet, and Bikoff made beautiful use of every inch. There are three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half-bath. The primary suite boasts a walk-in closet, marble bathroom, and private terrace overlooking the Village. Bikoff is open to discussions about leaving the home for renters furnished or removing everything so a renter can start fresh. But, who wouldn’t want to live in Bikoff’s world full of exciting patterns, shapes, and textures?

Leslie Mason of Douglas Elliman holds the $25,000/month rental. Looking for a permanent home in the West Village? Actors Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy recently listed their townhouse nearby for sale.
