Fleetwood Mac Legend Christine McVie’s Stunning London Penthouse Hits the Market

One cultural phenomenon that the U.S. and the U.K. share is their deep roots in music and rock n’ roll, with each country churning out some of the world’s most famous bands and solo stars in the last 75 years. Fleetwood Mac is a point of pride for both. The classic rock band was established in 1967 in London and expanded to become a blend of British and American musicians. The core lineup, who was in place from 1974 to 1987 when they shot to worldwide fame, were John McVie, Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Lindsey Buckingham.

Fans might do anything to get a piece of their memorabilia, but now you can live like ones of the music legends at this beautiful London residence. It belonged to Christine McVie from 2015 until her passing in 2022 and just listed for £6.95 million (nearly $9 million).

Set in Belgravia, the duplex penthouse is a vision of sunshine, high ceilings, and pops of color with a serene rooftop terrace crowning it all. McVie purchased the splendid spread after rejoining Fleetwood Mac in 2014 as she was pulled to London more often from her Grade II manor in Kent. Next, she renovated it to make it a true refuge.

“When not touring, the Belgravia penthouse provided Christine with a comfortable home, and a quiet and private space where she could shop with anonymity,” a PR rep for Beauchamp Estates, who exclusively represents the listing, shared. It’s easy to see how the songwriter, known for penning hits like “Little Lies” and “Everywhere,” felt relaxed here. After all, she filled the 2,552-square-foot Eaton Place haven with beautiful artwork, vibrant textiles, and eye-catching antiques. Following her death, many of these treasures were sold at auction, with the proceeds benefiting MusiCares and other music-related charities.

No one has lived at the three-bedroom penthouse since McVie, but it recently got a makeover. Designer Simon Buhl Davis dressed it with inviting yet minimalist style and colorful decor. Martin Wyatt, the late musician’s manager, is selling it on behalf of the Estate of the late Christine McVie, for which he is the executor.
