Formula One Champion Jenson Button Seeks $2.3M for Perky Palm Springs Bungalow

The 2009 F1 World Champion, Jenson Button, and his interior designer wife, Brittny Button, of Button Atelier, are no strangers to the Palm Springs real estate scene. Earlier this year, the couple listed a Spanish Colonial for $2.5 million, and now they are looking to steer another Palm Springs property in the direction of a new owner.

The couple has restored a circa-1930s retreat into a perky property decked out in various shades of pink and leafy green patterns. Think Barbie DreamHouse meets the Beverly Hills Hotel. Brittny Button says she was inspired by Jayne Mansfield’s ‘Pink Palace’ in Holmby Hills, which featured a heart-shaped pool and bathtub. “I wanted to create my very own Pink Palace, a mini-Beverly Hills Hotel, that was period appropriate,” she shares.

The two-story stucco home, dubbed ‘the Mesa Bungalows,’ totals four ensuite bedrooms—one with a private sun deck. Other outdoor amenities include a swimming pool, spa, waterfall, and a patio with a kitchen and fireplace. “I wanted everything to feel new and tasteful, but also have that vintage charm,” Brittny Button says of the vintage white iron outdoor furniture she restored.

Whether the new buyer is looking for a vacation home or an investment property where renters can take a pitstop, the Instagrammable listing is available turnkey.

For those racing to get their hands on the property, Joseph Babineaux of Windermere Desert Properties holds the keys to the $2.3 million listing.
