A trio of bitter lemon leather-covered barstools from Charles Stewart adds a jolt of color to the kitchen. Milk-glass pendants are from Visual Comfort; countertops are made of honed Cararra marble; custom cabinetry is designed by Forehand + Lake.
Oggetti’s Waffle mirror in the foyer is meant to evoke waves; the petrified wood and polished nickel console is through Asia Loft. A peek into the dining room reveals Forehand + Lake custom-designed cabinetry. The focal point is a Thomas Berntsen silver gelatin print from his “Dancing Leaves” series. A Visual Comfort light fixture hangs above a Bolier dining table and Charles Stewart Company dining chairs. All floral arrangements are by the Flowerfall.
Forehand + Lake designed the living room oak and walnut coffee table, the sectional and the club chairs. The banana-leaf-wrapped side table and the driftwood sculpture are from Cocoon. The fabric for the sheers is through Andrew Martin.
A Phillip Jeffries raffia wall covering lines the walls of the family room, where the ceiling and trim are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Manchester Tan. The paprika chenille-covered chair and ottoman are through Vanguard; the sectional is a Forehand + Lake custom design and wears a checked Pindler & Pindler linen. The mahogany coffee table is through Hickory Chair, and the rug is from Antrim Rugs.
The foyer’s petrified wood console holds a pretty tableau of hand-blown vases from Cocoon.
A leather-covered John Richard bench anchors the master bedroom. The nightstands are from Vanguard Furniture, and the alabaster lamps are through Visual Comfort. Sheers in a Rogers & Goffigon fabric create a breezy feel; the chair and ottoman are through Donghia.
In the bathroom, the mood is crisp and clean with Forehand + Lake custom-designed cabinetry and mirror, sconces and hardware from Klaffs, plus wall and floor tile through Porcelanosa.
The third-floor balcony offers a breathtaking view of Long Island Sound.
