De Gournay’s Willow wallpaper frames a custom blue glass fireplace in the center of Claud Cecil Gurney’s living room. Twin George III sofas, one bought at Christie’s and the other a copy, flank a 1960s French cocktail table. The Alpaca rug is by The Rug Company.
Consoles from the Far East display porcelain and other treasures in the dining room, which features a Rives du Bosphore panel on the wall and Gustavian chairs, all by de Gournay. Glass tiles allow light to filter through the house from upper floors.

Cecil Gurney’s second-floor office includes an antique French Art Deco desk, antique carved monk effigies from Burma, and a collection of Chinese porcelain vases. The wallpaper is de Gournay’s Coutts Chinoiserie.
