Tucked in a picturesque valley of Telluride, a majestic yet modern estate where contemporary architecture and rugged natural scenery abound has hit the market. It seems like the ultimate Colorado retreat and will come turn-key, fully furnished (even including e-bikes, per the NY Post). When you realize the owner is none other than the co-founder of SoulCycle, Elizabeth Cutler, the active yet tranquil atmosphere makes all the more sense. And, the price tag? A cool $29.5 million, making the buying pool highly elite.
First picking up the property in 2013 and expanding it later by buying a neighboring lot, Cutler has lived at this stunning and rejuvenating residence for over a decade. She has happily split her time between here and New York. However, listing agent and Director of Telluride Properties Brian O’Neill shares that the entrepreneur and former CEO “has found herself in New York more and more, so she decided to sell this spring.”
The lucky, and affluent, new owner who scoops the dreamy property will gain a light-filled main house, which was built in 2009 but improved upon by Cutler. She added a bunk room, mudroom, office, game room, two additional guest suites, and more. The home now offers seven bedrooms in total, making it perfect for holidays or summer trips with lots of family and friends.
While wellness can unfold anywhere here, such as with journaling in the sunroom or watching the waterfalls flow with morning coffee as Cutler told the Wall Street Journal she often did, the estate’s second structure is clearly where to go for Zen moments. It’s called the bath house, and holds a lap pool, sauna, steam room, and yoga studio.
Though, New York has won the tug of war of her attention for now, Cutler intends to stay connected to Telluride. After all, she is a University of Colorado-Boulder alum and has great fondness for the state.
