Five Chinese terra-cotta soldiers strike a pose in the kitchen, which features a table from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and bamboo floors.
Accent tables against a living area wall are by Maya Lin for Knoll and from Calypso Home and Sylvester & Co. at Home.
Philippe Cheng’s studio pays tribute to popular mid-20th-century American furniture designer Paul McCobb, whose chairs, tables, and dressers are arranged beneath mounted photographs from Cheng’s Still series.
The tile in the master bath is from Ann Sacks and the sink is from Ceramica Flaminia; the fixtures are from Dornbracht.
Son Julian’s room includes a desk from Pottery Barn and an Eames chair from Design Within Reach; Bastienne Schmidt’s Fairy Tales hangs above.
