A parent’s job is never done, even for A-listers. And, it seems Sylvester Stallone just went to great lengths to make sure his daughters have a gorgeous place to spend time in the Hamptons.
According the the New York Post, the actor and his wife, who reside in Palm Beach, just closed on a designer-created East Hampton home with their three daughters in mind. It cost them a steep $24.95 million, which was the listing’s full asking price and reportedly paid in all cash.
Looking at the custom touches and refined design, it is immediately apparent that a skilled eye put the 11,644-square-foot home together. In fact, the beautiful abode was developed and designed by the seller, Florida-based designer James Michael Howard, along with the renowned team at McAlpine Tankersley Architecture.
When Howard—who is known for interiors with Southern-style sophistication—listed the estate earlier this year, he was offering it with most of the furnishings and finishes included. If the final deal ended up being arranged this way, the Stallones will be immersed in Howard’s exact vision. When it listed, the rooms were decked out with rugs from Nepal, antique furnishings, custom knobs, custom-made wallcoverings, and more.
Of course, it wouldn’t be lavish Hamptons living without outdoor perks, too. Beyond the eight-bedroom masterpiece, ideal for housing the whole Stallone family, there are gardens, patios, lawns, and a pool to bask in come summer 2025.
Martha Gundersen and Paul Brennan of Douglas Elliman and Gary DePersia with the Corcoran Group represented the seller, while James Petrie of Compass brought the reported buyer.
