In the foyer, high ceilings offer a sense of grandeur. A carpet from Stark Carpet provides texture, while a luxurious, contemporary chandelier from Antoni Arola for Santa & Cole modernizes the room. The chic shade adorning the upper half of the walls is from Farrow & BallFarrow & Ball, while the appliques are from Urban ArchaeologyUrban Archaeology.
A posh statement ceiling, paneled walls, and a high-end art collection create an eclectic atmosphere in the dining room. Over the dining table from B&B Italia, an antler chandelier by Jason Miller Studio sets the tone for the space. The surrounding artworks include Rebel Without a Cause (James Dean), Blackglama (Judy Garland), and Chanel by Andy Warhol, as well as Clasp Envelope by Richard Baker.
A zig-zag patterned carpet from the Rug Company pairs well with wood paneling in the media room. The cushions in the armchairs are custom-made, and the panoramic photograph is Old Bond Street by Dale Yudelman.
Marble countertops and backsplash are standout features in the bright, airy kitchen.
In the library, the console and vintage chair are from March San Francisco. The applique is from Ralph Lauren Home, and the patterned carpet is from Stark Carpet.
Rich wood paneling is an important yet subtle detail in the living room; however, the tall baseboards could also make the room feel oppressive. To elongate the room, the designers painted the walls, ceiling, and upper and lower moldings the same color. A textured rug from Stark Carpet/a> is elegant and refined, while a framed flag by Jasper Johns brings added color into the room. Matching white Kennedee sofas, separated by a low coffee table by Andrée Putman from Troi Carats et Demi, tie the space together. The stool is vintage.
Natural vibes reign in a pared-down bathroom.
For the master bedroom, the team at JKA Design chose a bed from B&B Italia to anchor the style. Striped and print cushions add interest, while vintage lamps and nightstands give the space a mid-century modern flavor.
A Missoni Home rug complements the graceful furnishings. The painting behind the desk is Then Came a Fire and Burnt the Stick by Frank Stella, and the sofas are covered in fabrics from Pierre Frey.
