Fans of Black Panther and Creed can now own the address that Michael B. Jordan once called home…for a cool $14 million, that is. The 4,910-square-foot residence at 7728 Woodrow Wilson Drive is discreetly tucked away in Nichols Canyon’s “Celebrity Row” in Los Angeles.
Jordan’s former estate is positioned behind private gates on just over one acre, with an expansive driveway that can hold up to 10 cars. The estate was designed by architect Jeffrey Mills in 1997 and recently reimagined by Joelle Kutner and Jesse Rudolph of Ome Dezin.
The home feels expansive yet cozy, with a warm palette of timber, concrete, glass and stone. Ome’s redesign combines restrained Brutalism and the warmth of a French country home in the four-bedroom, five-bathroom (plus one half bath) estate.
“The home already had an incredibly strong architectural identity, so our goal with the renovation was never to change it, but to build upon what was already there,” Kutner tells dailyDEEDS. “We focused on enhancing the original relationship between the glass, concrete and wood structure and its surrounding landscape, while bringing a greater sense of warmth and refinement to the interiors.”
More than 75 slabs of marble were brought in, along with custom millwork, special lighting and vintage pieces. “The result feels more layered and considered, but still very much rooted in the spirit of the original architecture,” adds Rudolph . Luxury touches include a chef’s kitchen with La Cornue range, professional pizza oven and an additional screening room/library.
Outside, the landscape is equally impressive with a pool, mirrored sauna, jacuzzi, firepit lounge and stepped waterfall.
Charles Derenne, Silke Fernald and Dominique Madden of ACME I SERHANT hold the $14 million listing.
