For more than two decades, Craig Robins has shaped the Miami Design District into a destination where architecture, fashion, art, and culture converge. Now, that vision enters a new chapter with the introduction of Fouquet’s Hotel & Residences, the neighborhood’s first residential development. The project is being developed by Miami Design District Associates, in partnership with Raycliff Capital, Fort Partners, and Constellation Hotels Holding, whose collective work has helped shape architecture-driven and hotel-branded residential developments across South Florida.
Pritzker Prize-winning architect Sir David Chipperfield designed the development, his only project currently underway in Florida. Comprising a 25-story residential tower and a 12-story hotel, the buildings are defined by bespoke ceramic columns, expansive windows, and interiors by Paris-based RDAI, whose work includes Hermès flagships around the world. The residences are designed to capture and reflect Miami’s distinct light, while the development introduces more than 40,000 square feet of amenities that extend the experience of hotel living into everyday life.
The arrival of Fouquet’s also introduces the celebrated Parisian hospitality brand’s first official hotel in the Design District, adding another cultural layer to the neighborhood Robins has long envisioned as an immersive destination where architecture, design, dining, and daily life intersect.
Together, the project reflects the district’s continued evolution. Not simply as a world-class destination for design, but as a neighborhood where architecture and everyday living are thoughtfully woven together.
