Beyoncé and Jay-Z are no strangers to a good rental—a Bridgehampton estate in which they vacationed hit the market last summer for $50 million, and the listing gave us a glimpse into their holiday. Another home temporarily stayed in by the uber-private power couple, this one in Miami, has just sold for $28 million. Originally asking $30 million, the property lodged the Carters during their stop in the city on their latest co-headlining tour. Sliding walls of glass overlooking the property’s 145 feet of water frontage are only one of the features that drew the superstars to the rental. Owner Eddie Irvine, a legend in his own right as a former Formula One racing driver, purchased the home in 2012 and transformed it into the sweeping seven-bedroom home that stands today. Never Irvine’s main home, the mansion also lured Drake as a tenant in his absence whilst it has jumped on and off of the market. An unknown buyer at last swooped in on the property this week after two weeks on the market, no doubt entranced by the views, limestone walls, and mid-century interiors. Outside, a sitting area surrounds a firepit, while a rooftop terrace with full kitchen, Jacuzzi, and outdoor shower offers a 360-degree view of the surroundings.
